LITURGY COMMITTEE
Mission: To serve as the liaison between the Pastoral Council and the ministries involved in the planning and implementation of community worship. These ministries are dedicated to the primary purpose of giving worship and praise to God Almighty.

MUSIC MINISTRY
Director: Haydee Cullen
Mission: To bring together those with a love and a talent for music to lead and support the congregation in unanimous sung prayer, enhance the sacredness and beauty of parish liturgies, and to encourage each other through the sharing of music and song. By offering our time and our talents, we minister to all who listen as well as to each other.
The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church Music Ministry offers programs for singers and musicians of all ages. If God has given you the gift of music, please share that gift with our community.
Youth Choir is open to all children in grades 1-7. The group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM in the Church. They will sing at the 9:00 AM Sunday Masses once a month.
Adult Choir is open to all adults. They lead the singing at the 4:00 PM Saturday Vigil Mass. The group rehearses on Monday evenings at 7pm.
11:00 AM Choir rehearses before and after the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass. Cantors are needed to lead the congregation, along with a pianist at the Sunday Masses when a choir is not present.
Instrumentalist are always needed! If you play a musical instrument, please contact Haydee Cullen. Experienced players are needed from time to time to accompany the choirs or play in ensembles for concerts. If you play an instrument, please let us know who you are so that we can contact you as needed.
ART & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE
Leader: Suzanne Gilbert
Through the use of color, symbols, and decorations the Art & Environment Committee helps the faith community to fully experience the theme of the liturgy for special Holy Days, Feast Days, and the Liturgical Seasons.
Art & Environment works closely with the Liturgy Committee to artistically and creatively develop the themes for the liturgical seasons.
ALTAR SERVERS
Leader: Terry Malone and L.J. Necaise
Mission: To assist the priest and deacon in the celebration of the liturgy and to train young men and women in stewardship of service by offering their time and talent in this ministry.
Altar Servers are young people in grades four through college, who have a call to serve the Lord and their community during the liturgy. They are instructed in the proper procedures to assist the presider during Mass, weddings, funerals, and other liturgical celebrations.
EXTRA-ORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
(Eucharistic Ministers)
Director: Ellen Marino
Mission: To serve the faith community by assisting the priest and deacons in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass and Communion Services. To serve by bringing Communion to the sick in their homes, in hospitals, and in nursing homes.
Eucharistic Ministers are men and women, 18 years of age or older, who are Confirmed, active and participating members in good standing in the faith community, who desire to serve the Lord by assisting in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist. They are instructed in the law and teachings of the Church with regards to this ministry. Although a person’s ministry may focus in one area (Mass, homebound, hospital, nursing home), they must be willing to serve in all areas should a need arise and they are available.
LECTORS & COMMENTATORS
Director: Carolyn Weigand
Missions: To give glory and praise to God through proclamation of Sacred Scripture at Mass and during other liturgical services. Also, to lead the assembly in communal prayer and to share with them information concerning the faith community of Most Holy Trinity.
Lectors and Commentators are men and women, 16 years of age or older, who are Confirmed, active and participating members in good standing in the faith community, who desire to serve the Lord by reading the Sacred Scripture at Mass and other special liturgies.
GREETERS & USHERS
Leader: Michael Gannon
Mission: To serve the faith community of Most Holy Trinity Parish by welcoming members and visitors to the celebration of the Eucharist and other special liturgies. To provide assistance, as needed to those gathered for Mass, within the worship area. These ministers, representing Most Holy Trinity offer hospitality to all who enter to worship with our community.
Men and women, who are 18 years of age or older, who are Confirmed, active and participating members in good standing in the faith community, who desire to serve the Lord in this way, are invited to join this ministry. Their responsibility is to greet people as they enter the church, to help with seating, assist the handicapped, help direct Communion traffic, collect the stewardship offering at weekend Masses and on Holy Days, and distribute weekly publications. Greeters/ushers are also active in other events requiring the management of large numbers of people or in “setting up” for parish community building events.
